2018 summer camp schedule

Bug exploration:   June 25 -28

Campers will use their senses to explore bugs in our outdoor setting throughout the week. They will have the opportunity to learn about cool bugs and their life cycles in our environment. Campers will have the opportunity to explore bugs hands on with bug catchers, magnifying glasses and pinchers. We will have a variety of bugs for the kids to touch and then they will be released in our garden.  They will also have bug inspired crafts to take home with them.

 Garden Exploration Camp July 9-12

Campers will spend time exploring our garden area during the week. We will work on putting together some garden beds and painting them. We will plant vegetables, herbs and colorful plants in our garden and around the school. Campers will also get a chance to explore our compost areas and create a fairy garden.

Summer Camp: Oldies but goodies July 23- 26 (Children 5-9)

This camp will give older kids the opportunity to explore the daily routine of our school. We will focus on teamwork, creativity and exploration, by completing challenges throughout the day and exploring our outdoor environment. This camp will contain fun challenging activities from prior camps like the Amazing Race and color camp.

Forest school exploration:  August 6-9

This camp will focus on our forest aspect of the school. Children will spend time in our forest exploring and going on nature walks. This camp is ideal for incoming children to the 2018/2019 school year who want to prepare for a 9-2 school day and parents who want their children to explore the beauty of a nature school.
